MacOS Basics (3 sessions)

Learn how to get the most out of your Mac computer. This course will cover the basics of how to use Apple’s operating system, which works on Apple’s popular line of laptops and desktops. This class starts with the basic functions of the MacOS operating system and how to navigate through folders, files, and menus. Organizing, moving, and saving files will be covered too. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop computer running MacOS, as only a limited number of computers are available to be provided for this class, taught by an instructor from the National Digital Equity Center. Get Started with a Password Manager

This hands-on workshop will set you up to get started with a free password manager program called Bitwarden, so you will never lose your passwords again! Walk through the steps to create an account, set your master password, and input your other passwords into the system.
