Microsoft Excel, Intermediate

After a review of the basics, practical applications will be presented with features and functions of Microsoft Excel 2010. Students will be guided through the process of creating, formatting and editing spreadsheets. Form layout and design as well as mathematical calculations will complete this learning experience.

To enroll in enrichment classes, particpants must be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in school.

Microsoft Word for Beginners

Word is the most popular word processing application in use today. In this course, students will gain a solid understanding of the basic concepts and features in Word. The course will primarily cover creating and revising documents, formatting text, using tools such as Spell Check and Microsoft Word's built in thesaurus, and printing documents so that they maintain their formatting. Students must be familiar with Windows and have basic computer skills. This course utilizes Microsoft Word 2010.

To enroll in enrichment classes, particpants must be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in school.

Microsoft Word can be used for much more than word processing. This course will cover some of Word's features such as tables, text features, borders, graphics, lists, mail merges, and much more. Using these concepts, students will be able to create professional looking documents such as letters, resumes, cover sheets, and flyers. This class utilizes Microsoft Word 2010.
