Do you have a solid vocabulary of signs, but want to learn American Sign Language grammar? If so, this class is for you! This class will cover basic ASL sentence structure, negations, conjunctions, relative clauses, time signs, and modifications of signs to alter meaning, non-manual grammatical markers, and an introduction to classifiers. Students need to have taken ASL I, and/or have a solid base of several hundred signs as this class will not be focused on vocabulary, but rather how to put your vocabulary to use.

Explore the stars, moon, and the beauty of the night sky during this one night class. Bangor High School is home to one of the most advanced astronomical observatories in the state. A 12 inch reflecting telescope is pointed by a robotic mount within an integrated dome. Images of planets, galaxies, stars and the Moon are obtained using a professional level astronomy camera (CCD), a spectrograph, or a video camera. The instructor has been teaching astronomy at the high school for seven years and uses the telescope and supporting instruments with students throughout the year.
